LADDER leaders Ultima and Moulamein meet in Saturday’s fifth round of senior footy in the Golden Rivers FNL season.

Ultima has home-ground advantage as first takes on second from 2.30pm on the Kangaroos’ ground.

The Roos and Swans are both unbeaten.

In last Saturday’s play, Ultima scored a 67-point win at Murrabit as Martyn Cooper, Sean O’Reilly, Jayden Kiel and Jamie Nicholas led the way.

Key players for the Kangaroos include Ryan Devereux in attack, Mitch and Tyler Makepeace, and Zac Cattlin.

Moulamein won a closely-fought contest with Wandella in the Swans’ home.

The Swans were under the pump from the Bombers, but were able to kick clear for a 70-58 victory.

In-form players for Moulamein include Mason Bailey, Daniel Aarsman, Cody Storm and Kaylem Hartley.

The Swans also have Andy Silva starring in attack.

Heath Moloney and Rodney Reeves provide great leadership for Moulamein.

Another big match is at Macorna where the Tigers take on Murrabit.

The Macorna line-up will be determined to mark its second win of the season after a 91-92 loss at Hay last round.

Best for the Tigers in the clash with the Lions were Hugh Mason, Lachlan Ritchie, Jack Featherby and Harley Somerville.

A key to Macorna’s chances will be limiting goalkicking chances for former Brisbane Lions and Essendon forward Damian Cupido in Murrabit’s attack.

Other players to watch for the Blues include Dustin Blake, Tobie Cameron, co-captains Ben Gillingham and Nathan O’Toole, and Blake Watts.

Wandella is back at home to play Hay.

The Bombers played a great game at Moulamein last round as Russell Rich, Jack Radcliffe, Kane Timmins and Adam Ward were best for the red and black.

Wandella will look for big games from the likes of Mitch Collins, Austin and Jayden Crellin, and Adam McKenzie.

The Hay Lions fought on for a one-point win at home against Macorna.

A strong attack for Hay is led by Simon Bunyan, Fergus Cattanach and Liam Whitbourne.

Others to watch in the Lions’ line-up include Luke Arandt, Dean Aylett, Dom Booth and Cooper Scott.
