Netball Interleague
Central Rivers Interleague Carnival saw a big day across Swan Hill Rec, Alan Garden Reserve & Alan Garden Courts. With 6 football games and 3 netballs games it was a massive day for the Central
Rivers community. Bare with us whilst say a few BIG thank yous: Swan Hill Football Netball & Tyntynder Football Netball Club for opening up their club rooms, change rooms & hosting the games. To the Sunrise Rotary group for manning our gates. Sunraysia FNL & HCNA for making the journey to play our squads. To all parents, grandparents, friends & supporters who came out and celebrated the day. To ALL of our umpires across football & netball - our games don’t go ahead without you. To all of the incredibe volunteers who assisted across the day; team managers, canteen, umpire escorts, runners, water carriers, timekeepers, primary carers, scorebord operstors, court supervisors. Thank you to Tracy Roberts for her amazing photos. Thank you to our four amazing trainers: Blackers, Bob, Erin & Noodle - not only for Saturday but for the past 10 weeks. Our incredible sponsors who without we would not be able to run days like this. And last but certainly not least, all of our amazing coaches. Without your passion, commitment & dedication these programs don’t run - so thank you so much, we are so grateful for you.
We are already turning our attention to 2026

Performing well at the Northern Region Association Championship Qualifying Tournament in Bendigo, may see the girls qualify for finals. The top two league teams for this tournament, in each age group, will progress to the Association Championship State Finals Day in Melbourne.
Interleague is a major component of the Netball Victoria Talent Pathway, where up-and-coming netballers from regional and metropolitan areas are assessed on their skills and potential. Talent Scouts attend each tournament date, inviting selected players to attend Talent Academy trials.
Congratulations and good luck to all players, coaches and umpires who represent the Central Rivers Leagues’ in 2025, and a big thanks to Foott Earthmoving for their ongoing sponsorship of the program.
