Celebrating a Stellar Season: Central Murray Football Netball League Presentation Nights

This past week, the Central Murray Football Netball League has been buzzing with excitement as we wrapped up our 2024 season with two unforgettable presentation nights. Held at the Swan Hill Jockey Club and the Swan Hill Town Hall, these events brought together around 350 enthusiastic attendees to celebrate our league’s standout players and contributors.

Junior Presentation Night

Our week of celebration kicked off with the Junior Presentation Night at the Swan Hill Jockey Club. This event was a fantastic opportunity to recognize the exceptional talents and hard work of our junior players. From outstanding performances on the field and court to notable achievements throughout the season, our young athletes were honoured for their dedication and sportsmanship.

Senior Presentation Night

The excitement continued with the Senior Presentation Night at the Swan Hill Town Hall. This event provided a grand finale to our season, before the actual Grand Final this Saturday, where we had the pleasure of celebrating the stars of our senior football and netball teams. The evening was filled with recognition for our top performers, including the announcement of the Best and Fairest winners, Netball Umpire Awards, and the Senior Football and Netball Teams of the Year.

Highlights of the Night

In addition to crowning our Best and Fairest players and MVPs, we took time to acknowledge all of our Football and Netball Interleague representatives. It was a privilege to honour these athletes for their exceptional contributions beyond our local league. We also recognized the hard work of our Netball umpires who play a crucial role in ensuring fair and enjoyable games throughout the season.
The night was marked by the announcement of several prestigious awards, including the League Awards for Club Excellence, Coaches of the Year, Mark & Goal of the Year and League Identity. These awards highlight the dedication and passion that fuel our league and celebrate the individuals and teams that have made this season truly memorable.
