A mixed day at Woorinen for our final home and away games of the year!

 

Only 3 wins at the netball, but that didn’t dampen the mood too much, as we celebrated the fact that we officially have 5 teams heading into finals next week! 13 & Under will have the weekend off, after finishing top, while 15 & Under, G Grade, A Reserve and A Grade will have to fight to keep their finals alive next Sunday in the Elimination finals. Let’s get plenty of support there for the girls!

 

Some good wins in the juniors to close out the season, saw the year finish on a high for our young Saints - congrats boys! We may have even seen the debut of future Saints star, with Henry kicking 6 goals in his first game for the Under 15's! Our Ressies and Seniors battled with very strong Tigers teams later in the day, and weren’t able to close out the season with one final win. We look forward to having you all back again next season to go one better.

 

Big thanks to Emily Siely and her helpers for their work in organising Saintchella on Saturday night - we appreciate your work in putting on a great event for our members.

 

To finish off a busy weekend, we celebrated the end of the h&a season with presention day on Sunday. Big thanks to everyone who helped organise the day, especially Leanne and Lauresa, who did a bulk of the work! Congratulation to all award winners on their outstanding seasons - results can be found on our Facebook or Instagram page. Well done also to the players in our unofficial junior teams, Under 10's, Under 12's and Under 13 Reserves, who were all recognised for their improvement and commitment to the saints during 2025!
