As predicted, it was a tough day out at Cohuna and, also as predicted, we had some great wins from the day to celebrate.

 

Our youngsters started the day well, with the 13's, 13's Res and Under 12's all having good wins. Our 15's football and netball synced up and both recorded draws and, while a win would have been nice for these teams, 2 points are better than none. 17's and Colts couldn’t quite get the wins, but still showed up and put in a competitive effort against a strong opposition.

 

After a back and forth tussle all game, A grade scored themselves a top 5 scalp, ending the game up by 4 goals. Despite strong fight backs from Cohuna, the girls were able to keep their heads and play some great netball to keep on top at the final siren and earn themselves their second win for the year. With a few winable games coming up after the bye, the girls are on track for a good month of netball.

 

Outside of A Grade, our senior teams were unable to get the wins on the board. However, despite the final outcomes, the teams showed that we are not far off the mark in most grades. All going well in the next few weeks, we should finally start to see some reward for effort, with quite a few ins expected to bolster our teams across the club.
