Swan Hill Notes for Round 13

This week we host Woorinen which is always a great day and should be some fantastic games of footy and netball. We have our past players day to day followed by our kids disco and casserole night which is pres Carl’s favourite function. Well our kids are dancing up a storm the rest of us will be entertained via a Q & A from St Kilda legend Nick Winmar and local legend and leading Aussie jockey Harry Coffey.

Last week we travelled to Manangatang and our Senior boys had their second win for the year getting over the saints by 37 points. Best players were S Beasy, B Houlihan, L Vrolijks, N McKeown, J Keough and H Scott.

Our Ressie boys were to good also with a strong win with better players being S Polglase, H McDonald, J Halligan, B Williamspn, J Brooks & M Battenally. In the Colts our boys also had a strong win with better players being L Cardenas, H Graham, S Scott, D Uebergang, H Langley-Sheldrick & M Hinton.

The U15’s went down against strong Saints team. Better players were T Robertson, H Hunter, K Purcell, J Kelly, L Germaine & O Uebergang. The U12’s had another strong performance with better players being Z Robertson, M Hirst, J Lowe, R Wilkins, B Caldwell and M Brown.

In the Netball our A Grade girls were to strong winning by 29 goals with better players being H Rogers and Z Morris. Our A Reserve girls had a strong win with better players being L Thoolen & M Sheldrick. In the B Grade our girls got up by 24 goals with better players being K Thamm & E Vroliks. In the B Reserve the girls had big win by 39 goals with best players C Gleeson & C Robertson.

In the junior Netball our U17’s girls went down by 17 goals with best players being J Jenkins & I Angus. In the U15’s our gils won by 25 goals with better players Z Brooks & M Lawry. In the U13’s the girls went down by 18 with best players being A Neuschafer & M Bennett. In the U13 Res the girls won by 25 goals with better players I Patterson & M Lloyd.

Also this week we have a very special milestone with Jared “Yappa” Halligan playing his 300 club game. This is an amazing achievement Yappa. Your dedication and loyalty to the club is amazing.
